In 1986 David Bechkam @ age 11 in Bob Charlton Soccer School . In 2002 David Bechkam scored the goal that qualified England for 2002 World Cup. He became the Captain of the National team in 2001

SECTIONS OF THE ACADEMY

  • Under-7 : 5-7years
  • Under-10 : 8-10years
  • Under-12 : 11-12years
  • Under-14 : 13-14years
  • Under-15 : 15-16years
  • Under-18 : 17-18years
  • Under-20 : 19-20years
  • Under-22 : 21-23years

COACHING HOURS:

Under14 – Under 7: Saturdays @9.30am – 12.00noon

Under 22 – Under 16: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays @7.OOam – 9.00am

CURRICULUM

The curriculum of the Academy is broad and quite stimulating containing not only the skills and techniques recommended by the Nigeria Association of Football Academies but more. The adoption of a broad-based curriculum is predicated on the focus that players at the Wordstars Football Academy shall be trained for competition in and outside this country.

It is envisaged that after 1year of training, the players would have acquired the necessary skills and also grown to be registered for age grades competitions in and outside the Country.
